What: V-Day's A Memory,
a Monologue, a Rant and a Prayer. Featuring Debra Hart, WMMQ, Adrien
Vlach, Executive Director of the MSU Student Housing, Tamiko Rothhorn and
Keesa V. Muhammad. Maria Danielle Casinelli is the Director / Producer of
this groundbreaking collection of monologues by world-renowned authors and
playwrights.
When: Friday, October 12,
7:30 p.m., Saturday, October 13th, 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, October 14th at 2
p.m.
Where: Creole Gallery on
Turner St. in Old Town
Tickets: $18 for general
public; $10 for students, available at Everybody Reads bookstore and the
Women's Center of Greater Lansing.

Center of Greater Lansing, 1710-1712 E. Michigan Ave., a nonprofit community
organization whose mission is to help women realize their potential, support
each other, achieve economic self-sufficiency, and develop emotional and
physical well-being, regardless of income level.

What: Benefit dinner with
guest grillers Jason Colthorp, News Anchor at WILX TV / Fox 47; JoAnne Paul
from Citicom Broadcasting; Dayna Marie & Jack Robbins, WLNZ; and Chris Holman
from the Greater Lansing Business Monthly. Dinner includes all-you-can-eat
stir fry, soft beverage or Starbucks Coffee, chocolate mousse and a tip for
your server.
When: Thursday, October
25th, 6 p.m. or 7:30 p.m. seating.
Where: bd's Mongolian
barbecue, 2080 W. Grand River, Okemos
