Sunday March 2nd @ 2PM

Please join Deena Tyler and her friends from the Lansing poetry communities and EVERYbody Reads for her final formal poetry reading in Michigan.

The afternoon's reading will feature some of the amazing poems written by Deena over the past 25-years. During this period, Deena has been a I am a member of the poetry group, "survivn' n thrivin'. " She has read poetry for survival vigils, in East Lansing and at the Capitol and is victor over domestic abuse. Her poetry was borne out of her experiences; her imageries reflect her unique experiences and perspective.

Deena attended Lansing Community College where she met local poet Melissa Dey Hasbrook, began a lasting friendship. Melissa will also be sharing her poetry on Sunday.
