Lisa Sayles is a black lesbian poet and activist who's
first chapbook, "The Year of the Phoenix" represents is an angst- filled
look at love, loss, and mid-life crisis.
Sunday, April 6th, Lisa will share from her new chapbook, "I Have Nothing
to Say". This book of poetry focuses on women finding voice and self.
Lisa was born in Alabama, raised in Detroit and has lived and worked in
Lansing for 20 years.
